Default Make moves like Empathy, this.

I have an idea. Make skills like empathy and spiteful spirit only trigger damage when the foe lands a successful hit. This would balance those kind of skills more. This also could balance PvP more because of the heavy anti-melee. Any signs?

BTW THIS IS ONLY FOR PVP

No thanks. We have other skills that only trigger on hit, and skills that only trigger on misses. If we smashed them all together, they'd all need to be rebalanced.

Anti-melee is pretty common, it will weaken the skill without killing it.

Outside of RA or AB, you won't be completely stacked with anti melee hexes, maybe a cover but that's it. Your backline should be able to just veil/cure you. And I say backline because HA and GvG are the only types of GvG that anet might care about.

completely untrue vs hexway. PnH is usually sweating keaping depravity/backfire/shame off the monks. Empathy's always covered almost instantly with large aoe cover hexes.

Don't you mean (pvp)[ra] only? And the post above. If that many hexes get off and nobody interrupts them, then the monks really did nothing wrong and the interrupter gets kicked, hexes are not a big problem ha, gvg wise.

Stop complaining about random teams.

VoR is what makes the build good enough to warrant bringing. Empathy isn't a problem in itself, neither is backfire because devoting a whole character to spamming those two in addition to humsig isn't good enough.

If anything, you could revert the pretty random damage buff to empathy that really was unneeded. VoR on the other hand is a pretty dumb concept for a skill.

Top TEN guilds run hexway, and I've seen hexway hold halls for hours at a time. HUH?!

Prema-balance: Remove Mesmers from Pvp

They are already useless in PvE.
